Founded by Dr. Major Narayan Bhattacharya.
In the year 2016 Rabindranagar HELP Foundation was founded on the initiative of Dr (Major) Narayan Bhattacharya and a group of like-minded persons who wanted to contribute to society by relentlessly working for the upliftment of mental and physical health of the people. The NGO intends to achieve an informed and aware society where patients and healthy persons are educated with regard to heart disease and diabetes.
VISION
Diabetes and heart disease are interlinked. In India heart disease is a major killer today. It is a silent disease that creeps into our bodies over the years and can present suddenly when lots of damage has already been done. Sometimes death ensues despite our best efforts. Heart disease is a widow maker.
People need to know that what begins as a simple lifestyle disorder can end up in a fulminant life threatening heart disease in a short period of time. It is preventable and both diabetes and heart disease can be controlled with health education, lifestyle changes, nurturing healthy habits, proper diet, regular exercise, stress management, de-addiction (tobacco and alcohol) and rehabilitation.
MISSION
Our mission is to HELP (Health Education for Life and Prosperity) mankind by creating awareness in the field of mental and physical health. According to a forecast by WHO India will be hit by a tsunami of chronic disease and will become the ‘Diabetic and hypertensive capital of the world’ with high mortality and morbidity. We, at RN HELP Foundation intend to control this huge wave and prevent the widespread damage caused by it by organising awareness programmes, workshops and medical camps with the purpose of providing knowledge and training in the fields of:

GOAL
We, at RN HELP Foundation, are moving ahead with the purpose of making India the Hypertensive and Diabetic CARE capital of the world with minimum mortality and morbidity. We have jumped into this field of healthcare promotion to encourage our younger generation to lead an active, productive and healthy life and contribute to the well being of the society as a whole.
